Maybe or Maybe not

There was a time they lived in the same place

but only one felt the magic in the air...

Years later they went their separate ways 

Still thinking that both are dwellers of different space,

One sang it loud, other just kept mum...

Years down the line 

One might still breathe the magic of the time

But the reality sang a different rhyme

Echoes always hummed 

Acquaintances that's all they were 

Both of them just said

Maybe or Maybe Not...

So the story came to an end...

Nothing left to say as nothing left unsaid,

There she stood staring at the beautiful couple 

Smiled to herself and walked out of the church

Right at the door she turned

And looked at the man she loved, for the last time...

Clapping so deafening that it shouted a loud as the man she loved took his vows

With just a sigh she left... Finally... completely blank

Left her feelings at the alter

Pledged her share of love 

Wrapped it in a shining sheet

& Gifted with a smile to the bride to be

Thinking the bride is the worthy owner now

That love was hers now anyhow…

She smiled as the sky cried upon her face ,

It poured soft tears of the love so dear, she just gave away

I guess even the sky knew... it was for her best…

So it held its tears and smiled instead...

As another story waited for her

There was another man at the alter

She grabbed her bouquet and pulled her veil down

and as bride she walked towards him

He looked at her as she was the only one in the world,

Just like the way she always looked at her love...

With a smile, she pledged her life to him...

And this how the story came to an end...

As it turned out to be....
